At present,because of the new curriculum reform in our country,the teaching methods of various disciplines have been changed.Among them,the mode of teaching history has been completely changed,and in teaching more attention is paid to the needs of the students.Therefore,the application of various curriculum resources and a variety of teaching methods,has become an important teaching reform in the new curriculum reform.In the history teaching,one of the important curriculum resources is the native history books.When teaching the students of junior high school,the adoption of local history books can stimulate the interest of students,active classroom atmosphere,improve teaching efficiency and learning efficiency.It can also cultivate students' feelings,improve teachers' professional accomplishment and provide support for school characteristics.Based on the theory of quality education,multicultural education and so on,combined with the effectiveness of the local history teaching materials,this paper expounds the necessity of the application of the local history teaching material in the junior high school history teaching.And on the basis of investigating the present situation of the application of the local textbooks in Chengdu,this paper analyzes the problems in the application of the local history textbooks.According to the single dilemma of teachers' local history teaching materials in the survey,the author takes "Chengdu history" as an example,and explores the ways of using the local history teaching materials in junior middle school history teaching from four aspects: First,the use of local history textbooks to assist the Chinese history teaching;Second,the use of local history textbooks to carry out extracurricular practice activities;Third,the use of local history textbooks to open elective courses of history;Fourth,the use of local history textbooks to optimize the web page of the history teaching at junior high school.Finally,the paper summarizes the relationship between the application of the teaching materials of the local history,and proposes the suggestion.It is hoping that this paper can be used as a reference for the teachers of junior high school in their actual teaching history.
