The junior high school history textbook edited by the Ministry of Education has added a large number of illustrations,with an average of three or four pages per page.Illustrations are no longer an optional embellishment and decoration in textbooks,but an indispensable component that plays a major role in helping teachers and students learn.At the same time,this also brings new challenges to the first-line middle school history teachers.How to effectively use the new textbook illustrations to start history teaching,help students master the methods of identifying and using historical pictures,and achieve the purpose of cultivating the core literacy of students' history disciplines.It is a question that every history teacher should think about.This article is titled "Applied Research on Illustrations of History Textbooks in Junior Middle Schools".Taking the textbooks edited by the Ministry as an example,it mainly uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey and case analysis method to discuss the meaning,classification,function and application of illustrations in history textbooks of junior middle schools.Issues such as the status quo,application principles and application strategies.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,it is mainly divided into five chapters for specific discussion:The first chapter is the meaning and classification of illustrations in junior middle school history textbooks.First,a simple conceptual definition of the textbook illustrations,and then according to the function,the illustrations in the junior high school history textbooks are divided into three categories: historical maps,historical drawings,and historical charts.The historical drawings are subdivided into historical figures and historical scenes.Figures,historical relics and comics.The second chapter is the function of illustrations in junior middle school history textbooks.Mainly include arousing learning motivation and stimulating students' interest in historical learning;transmitting historical information to promote students' in-depth understanding of the text;improving observation ability to help students form correct historical representation;effectively assisting teaching and cultivating students' historical thinking ability;containing beautiful Factors to improve students 'five aspects of historical aesthetic ability.The third chapter is the application status of the junior middle school history textbook edited by the Ministry.In the form of a questionnaire survey,the current situation of the application of illustrations in the junior middle school history textbooks edited by the Ministry is investigated.The investigation found that some frontline teachers did not pay enough attention to the textbook illustrations,lacked the skepticism and research spirit of the textbook illustrations,and neglected the guidance and training of students in reading methods in the teaching.The fourth chapter is the application principles of junior middle school history textbook illustrations.The number of illustrations in the history textbook of the junior high school in the Ministry of Education is numerous and rich in content.Teachers must follow the principles of scientificity,detail,purpose and appropriateness when selecting and using illustrations.The fifth chapter is the application strategy of junior middle school history textbook illustrations.Supported by a large number of teaching cases,it specifically discusses how to effectively use textbook illustrations in history teaching from the three aspects of pre-class preparation,classroom teaching,and after-class reflection to achieve the optimization of illustration teaching effect.
