At present,with the deepening of new curriculum reform and quality education,the trend of the development of the school is in constant change,a characteristic school is becoming the goal of each school development.In current practice,a lot of schools have already joined in the construction of characteristic schools.There are many ways to create characteristic school,in the process of creating characteristic school,the school can find a breakthrough according to own actual situation.This paper is a case study,this study mainly adopts the methods of questionnaire,interview and literature research,Wenjiang Yongning Middle School has carried on the comprehensive research.It selected the seven interview objects,including five teachers,two principals.It interviewed teachers of different grades,collected 5 offer materials;The headmaster has also conducted interviews,collected 2 offer materials.At the same time for 40 teachers and 300 students from questionnaires.Finishing the school over three years of characteristic school construction process data and the literature of school history.On the basis of field investigation,this paper describes the creation characteristic school early work,problems arising from the construction and construction after the preliminary results.Finally it is concluded that the characteristic school some strategies,so as to provide certain reference other school characteristic school construction.Wenjiang Yongning Middle School in the process of creating characteristic school roughly is from the school characteristic orientation,the formation and the development of characteristics.Yongning Middle School the traditional advantage of comprehensive school history and the requirement of modern education,on the positioning of running school,the school's "four learning" educational target and the "Zhiyuan education" education thoughts.The school focused on construction of "Zhiyuan education" cultural value system,management system,the education teaching practice system and environment construction system.After three years of practice,schools met with many difficulties,but its initial success in characteristic school construction.Quality promotion,school education teaching improvement and environmental culture construction have made great breakthrough.Wenjiang Yongning Middle School characteristic school construction also gave us some thinking: 1.To overall plan,comprehensive start characteristic school construction projects.2.Based on the school,we clear direction of school characteristics construction;3.To strengthen guidance and improve the effectiveness of characteristic school construction work;4.To build platforms,fully display characteristic school construction achievements;5.To strengthen the supervision,guide the direction of characteristic school construction work;6.To form mechanism,ensure the characteristic school construction order.
