It has been nearly 20 years since the curriculum reform started in this century.Curriculum construction is the core element of school culture reform and characteristic development,and also the concentrated embodiment of school education quality.In recent years,some primary schools are developing and implementing characteristic courses that reflect the characteristics of the school.By using the methods of literature review,observation and interview,and object analysis,this study summarizes the highlights and existing problems in the construction of characteristic courses in primary schools,and finally puts forward corresponding improvement countermeasures.First of all,this study defines the connotation of characteristic courses by using the literature method,and holds that characteristic courses are not only school-based courses,but also different from school-based courses,with characteristics of uniqueness,quality,practicality and integrity.Characteristic courses have the value of satisfying students'individual development,promoting teachers'professional growth and forming school-running characteristics.Secondly,from the perspective of the characteristic courses built by some schools at present,there are some innovations in the concept and planning of courses,complete course structure,rich and diverse types of courses,and the courses themselves have certain characteristics.But at the same time,due to the influence of examination-oriented education,the restraint of teacher factors and the absence of necessary guarantee system in the construction process,featured curriculum construction is faced with a series of difficulties,such as excessive dependence on external forces in the development of featured curriculum,the technical orientation of curriculum implementation and unscientific curriculum evaluation.Finally,in order to make the characteristic curriculum construction of primary school break through the dilemma,the following strategies are proposed:first,adhere to the special needs of students as the precondition of characteristic curriculum construction;Second,optimize the teaching staff,improve the professional quality of teachers;Third,from the renewal school culture,the perfect curriculum system,the development curriculum resources and so on aspect consummates the characteristic curriculum construction the safeguard measure.In order to better promote the process of the construction of characteristic curriculum in primary schools.
