Due to the complexity of the structure of Chinese characters,the large number of them,the characteristics of phonology,pronunciation and trinity,as well as other subjective and objective factors,there are many kinds of errors in the writing of Chinese characters in Pangasinan Universal Institute students of the Philippines.These Chinese characters are divided into wrong words and written in other characteristics two categories.Stroke error includes five kinds of strokes,such as mistaken addition and omission of strokes,combination of strokes,errors of strokes,misrepresentation of strokes,and deformation of strokes.The errors of the parts include the following parts:Component misaddition and omissions,component combination errors,component misuse three.Written in other characteristics include the word error bias near-word,close to the other characters,sound form close to the word and the meaning of the word close to or influenced by the context.The main reasons for the errors in the writing of Chinese characters in PUI students are: they have weak foundation of Chinese characters,lack of knowledge of Chinese characters,improper learning strategies of Chinese characters,and have obvious negative effects on intra-language negative transfer and negative inter-lingual migration.In order to solve the problem of Chinese characters' writing errors in PUI,this paper puts forward the following teaching countermeasures: establishing a specialized Chinese character class and gradually teaching Chinese characters;teachers should establish a right Chinese characters awareness and improve their Chinese character;reinforce the foundation of Chinese characters;To strengthen the teaching of parts;to stimulate students to learn motivation,interest in learning Chinese characters;in the teaching of Chinese characters into the culture of teaching;the use of modern educational technology to support teaching Chinese characters.Hoping to improve the students' overall Chinese proficiency and the ability to write Chinese characters,but also for future Chinese teachers to provide reference and help.
