In 2015,the Education Department of Henan began the free cultivation of general teachers who have promised to work in some rural pilot schools.The definition of “the PE ability of the general teachers of primary schools in Henan rural areas” is given on the basis of a large amount of literature: it means the psychological and physical ability on sports which the general teachers of primary schools in Henan rural areas need at work,and the training of such ability means the qualified authorities of Henan perform practices on making general teachers grasp the fundamental knowledge and skills of sports and ensure that they can do the primary sports education well with reasonable structure of the discipline knowledge and skills.The government policy,the situation of rural primary school education and elementary education characteristics and general teacher development jointly determine the requirements for general rural elementary school teachers in henan province necessity and urgency of cultivating the ability of sports discipline.Through field investigation,interview and questionnaire,the basic facts of the PE ability of the general teachers of primary schools in Henan rural areas instill little optimism,Poor performance on the basis of the general teachers' ability of PE course,loss of orientation of rural primary school sports development,pre-service training stage policy enforcement is not enough,the general sports teachers subject ability training pertinence is not strong.By combining the survey results and the theoretical basis,experts and front line teachers finally define the PE ability of the general teachers of primary schools in Henan rural areas as sports teaching ability,life-long sports ability,moral sports ability,the ability of serving the rural sports development,the ability of developing PE discipline and carrying out index analysis on such abilities.The system of theories of training the PE ability of the general teachers of primary schools in Henan rural areas is built on the basis of literature interview.Against this,suggestions are put forward on the practical situation:1.The built of material base of training the PE ability of the general teachers: the development of training teachers can be advanced by introducing talents and assigning training teachers to improvethemselves;Through targeted project skills classroom training,the course system can be perfected by setting specific sports elective courses,arranging tasks on the PE ability training,and making the sports community a curriculum;the training system can be improved by systematizing the training chain,building the training administration system and integrating the training subjects.2.The behavioral intervention of training the PE ability of the general teachers: the behavioral confidence of the training teachers should be built;the life-long sports behavior should be embedded in students' individual campus life during pre-service cultivation;the mechanism of cultural impact of teachers' behavior should be completed.3.The spiritual guide of training the PE ability of the general teachers: teaching the theories of specific sports spirit;leading the general teachers to experience and practice sports spirit;building the enlightenment platform of teachers' sports spirit.4.The guarantee of institutional systems of training the PE ability of the general teachers:institutionalizing the responsibility of training;focusing on the efficiency of system construction and the consciousness of enforcement;developing the comprehensive assessment system with sustainable development;building the moral administration system.
