Over the years, the overall quality of rural teachers in Guangxi is too low,the subject structure of rural primary school teachers is unreasonable, and the scale of rural primary schools is too small.Teachers' graduates trained according to the original model can only be competent for 1-2 disciplines and can not meet the teaching needs of rural primary schools.Teachers' graduates who teach in rural primary schools have short average working time and high resignation rate, and it is difficult for rural primary schools to retain high-level talents because of the difficult conditions. In May 2013,the Ministry of Education, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Organizational Development Committee of Guangxi issued the Notice on the Implementation of the Directional Training Plan for General Practitioner Teachers in Rural Primary Schools. From 2013 to 2017,through the implementation of the Directional Training Plan for General Practitioner Teachers in Rural Primary Schools, about 5,000 general practitioner teachers who are competent for various teaching tasks in primary schools will be trained. It has been five years since the plan was implemented. Therefore, this paper studies the current situation and problems of directional training for general practitioner teachers in rural primary schools in Guangxi and tries to provide policy recommendations. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part studies the background and general situation of the development of the directional training plan for general practitioner teachers in rural primary schools in Guangxi. The characteristics of the geographical environment, population structure, ethnic composition, economic development and the development of basic education in Guangxi affect the formulation and implementation of the training policy for general practitioner teachers.Since the implementation of the training plan for five years, the number of areas in need of directional training has decreased. The trend is that the enrollment scale remains stable, the overall training level is gradually upgraded, and the number of entrusted training colleges has increased slightly. The second part makes a comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the training modes of general practitioner teachers and single subject teachers.Compared with single subject teachers, the training mode of general practitioner teachers has the advantages of being compatible with the concept of "whole-personeducation" and humanistic teaching theory, with the current situation of lack of rural educational resources,in favor of realizing the fairness of primary education, and with the development trend of international primary teacher training. However, there are some drawbacks, such as the lack of teachers' professional accomplishment in subject teaching and the difficulty in ensuring the long-term stability of teachers. The third part analyses the representative models of directional training of general practitioner teachers in rural primary schools in China. At present, the mature training models in China includes Qinghai Province's "Two Foundations,One Major,One Specialty",Chongqing's "3+1",Hunan Province's "Localized Directional Training",Beijing Normal University's "U-N-G",Gansu Longnan City's "Three-in-One",etc.The fourth part studies the existing problems of directional training of general practitioner teachers in rural primary schools in Guangxi. The main problems summarized are that the overall training level is too low,the two-year junior college level training can not meet the training objectives, the balance between multidisciplinary teaching ability and basic knowledge is not ideal, the specific training curriculum is not entirely reasonable, and the skills of teachers' class management and classroom teaching are insufficient. In the fifth part, aiming at the above problems, the author uses the relevant mature models for reference to analyze the development countermeasures of directional training of general practitioner teachers in rural primary schools in Guangxi, and proposes to promote the cultivation of general practitioner teachers in primary schools at undergraduate level,to construct a curriculum system of general practitioner teacher training combining knowledge literacy and ability literacy,to optimize the content and structure of specific curriculum rationally, and to improve the training cycle of class management and classroom teaching skills.
