Present Situation And Developmental Thinking About Master Of Publishing Education In China

The Master of Publishing of our country was established in 2010.There were many universities enrolling postgraduates in this field in2011.At present,There are 18 Universities,such as Nanjing University,Fudan University,Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication and so on,which are approved for publication of graduate students.The Master of Publishing education from preparing the planning stage,pilot stage to the initial stage of development,the education continues to expand the scale of education and improves the quality,which matched a large number of outstanding talents for the publishing industry.The Master of Publishing education has made remarkable achievements,but there are still many problems.With widely collected information,The author sums up the characteristics of the Master of Publishing education and the existing problems,and puts some suggestions,for the theoretical research and development of the Master of Publishing education in our country.Chinese publishing industry is in the key stage that tends to marketization,digitalization and internationalization.The great changes in social context put forward new demands for talents,the editing and publishing of master education has been unable to meet the needs of publishing industry.And the editing and publishing education has thestrong practicality and compound so that it requires the master changes to pay attention to practice.As to the cultivation of talents,the Master of Publishing existence is a necessity and practical significance.From the subject orientation,training objectives,curriculum,teaching model,teaching staff and so on,the author analyzes the present situation of the Master of Publishing education of our country.The Master of Publishing education train qualified people in different colleges.Universities develop talents according to the standard by the Publication of Professional Degree Graduate Education Guidance Committee and the unified recruitment system,which take the roughly same core curriculum,rich interactive teaching methods and Multi-party cooperation way.But there still exist many problems,such as fuzzy subject orientation,the training goal lacking personality and so on,so that the development of Master of Publishing education have been limited.Based on the analysis of Chinese Master of Publishing education and foreign publishing postgraduate education,the author finds that the Chinese Master of Publishing education have to clear the subject orientation,reform concept,scientifically organize curriculum system,Improve the quality of teachers,and so on,for its development.
