As the "private education promotion law" to be revised and parents thirst for high quality education is more and more intense,private education has more and more space for development.Private schools greatly make up for the public schools in quantity,scale and the form of running the school.More and more attention to the development of non-government education in our country.The for-profit private high school because of its particularity and its own problems have to change the traditional performance evaluation methods to develop rapidly.According to the actual situation of for-profit private high school,using the right management method to improve its performance evaluation.This paper summarizes the concept of private high school,the condition and the reason of the performance evaluation.Changing the traditional performance evaluation methods of the private high school and considering the feasibility of using the balanced scorecard in private high school.Combined with the feature of private high school and the balanced scorecard to set the performance evaluation system of private high school.And apply this system to H private high school.Using Analytic Hierarchy Process(ahp)to calculate the index weight and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate H private high school.There are two research conclusions in this paper.The first point:through specific case studies can be seen that the design of private high school based on the balanced scorecard performance evaluation system is feasible.Applying this system to private high school can be intuitively reveal the level of the overall performance of private high school and help them find their weakness of management to promote the development.The second is the performance evaluation system of private high school applied to H private high school come to the conclusion that H private high school’s grade is good.The results accord with the actual situation.Suggests that H private high school does exist some problems.The private high schools represented by H private high school have many aspects need to be improved.The innovation points of this paper is that the balanced scorecard theory is applied to the performance evaluation of non-profit private high school that experts and scholars study less.Through analyzing the unique characteristics of the non-profit private high school to choose the suitable index.Building a suitable performance evaluation system for the non-profit private high school can solve the problem of the lack of teachers and the low parents satisfaction.It also can provide a right direction for private high school to reform and develope in the future.Improving the management level of private high school and promoting the development of private high school can make up for the inadequacy of public high school and play a bigger role in education.
