Aesthetic education has existedin the history of education in our countrysince ancient times.Since modern times,Wang Guowei initiated the western aesthetic education in China,Cai Yuanpei combined with the theory and practice of aesthetic education for school education.During the Republic of China,aesthetic education gradually began to integrate into the primary school curriculum.This paper summarizes the aesthetic education policy background and the basic elements of theChinese curriculum of primary schoolin the period of the Republic of China,summarizes the characteristics and main problems of aesthetic education in Chinese curriculum of primary school,put forward reasonable enlightenment,and provide valuable historical experience forthe aesthetic education work of our country’s schools.In this research,the main use of the literature research method,the historical research method,the case study method,forthe policy background of aesthetic education in the Republic of china,and in the primary school Chinese curriculum objectives,curriculum content,teaching methods,curriculum evaluation of aesthetic education in all aspects of arranging and analysis.This research is divided into six components:The first part,introduction.This part mainly expounds the reason of choosing the topic,definestherelated core concepts,summarizes the relevant literature systematically,analyzes the value of this research,and introduces the research methods.The second part,the background of primary school aesthetic education policy in the Republic of China.This research is divided into three periods in the beginning,the early years of the republic of China to the "new school system" promulgated period,after the promulgation of the "new school system" to the establishment of the Nanjing National Government period,and Nanjing National Government period,introduces the background of aesthetic education policy in primary school.The third part,the aims and contents of aesthetic education in primary school Chinese curriculum during the period of the Republic of China.In this part,it introduces the aesthetic education aims of primary school Chinese curriculum,analyzes the contents of the curriculum and the content of aesthetic education in the textbook.The fourth part,aesthetic teaching methods and evaluation in primary school Chinese curriculum in the period of the Republic of China.This part mainly discusses the aesthetic teaching method and the aesthetic teaching in the curriculum,and analyzes the impact of curriculum evaluation on aesthetic education.The fifth part,the characteristics of aesthetic education in primary school Chinese curriculum in the Republic of China.The characteristics of aesthetic education contained in primary school Chinese curriculum can be summarized as follows:aesthetic education aims gradually formed,the content of aesthetic education in the textbooks is rich,teaching methods focus on beauty reading and appreciation,all kinds of educational tests is an important way to evaluate aesthetic ability.The sixth part,the problems and contemporary enlightenment of aesthetic educationin Chinese curriculum of primary school in the Republic of China.Through the above research,we get the main problems of aesthetic education in primary school Chinese curriculum.The problems areaesthetic education aims is not clear,aesthetic teaching methods are inadequates and the evaluation system of aesthetic education have not been established.At the same time,it draws the enlightenment for the aesthetic education of our country.The enlightenment are make clear the aesthetic aims,make good use of educational resources for aesthetic teaching,to carry out extracurricular aesthetic activities,establish a perfect evaluation system of aesthetic education,and create an independent aesthetic education courses.
