Since the new century,China's higher education has considerable growth momentum,that has achieved leapfrog development.But the scale achieved great development,at the same time,people pay attention to the quality of personnel training,especially the cultivation of innovative talents.In recent years,some colleges and universities try to implement the tutorial system.It is hoped that the undergraduate tutorial system can improve the level of higher education management and system construction,promote the connotative development,and improve the quality of teaching.However,there are some problems in the implementation of undergraduate tutorial system,which affect the quality of higher education personnel training.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the undergraduate tutorial system.There are four parts in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction part.Firstly,it introduces the background and reasons.Then it based on the review of the undergraduate tutorial system of domestic and foreign research results,defining related concepts,research significance,research ideas and research methods.At the first of the second chapter,it discusses the origin and development of foreign tutorial system,and introduces the characteristics of tutorial system in University of Oxford in detail.Then it discusses the development process and current situation of undergraduate tutorial system in china.In the end,the author makes a theoretical analysis about the philosophical basis,the basic method and the ideological basis of the tutorial system.The third chapter summarizes the primal problems in the implementation of undergraduate tutorial system in China,and analyzes the reasons.This paper argues that major problems in the process of implementation of undergraduate tutorial system is that the plight of the teacher-student ratio;The overlapping responsibilities of tutors,counselors and teachers;The teacher's enthusiasm for the implementation of the tutorial system is not high;And the part of the students' recognition of the tutorial system is not high.There are four main reasons: firstly,the neglect of the function of personnel training;Secondly,the positioning of the tutorial system is not clear;Thirdly,the lack of reasonable attention and excitation mechanism.Fourthly,the mandatory and passive for distribution of teachers.The four cause and effect each other,leading to undergraduate tutorial system is difficult to play its due role.In the fourth chapter,aiming at the problems and reasons in the implementation of the tutorial system,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the undergraduate tutorial system in china.First of all,to improve the awareness of the importance of personnel training.Followed by strengthening the construction of the tutor team.Thirdly to establish a reasonable supervision,incentive and evaluation mechanism.Finally,the author puts forward to perfect the system of "two-way" choice between teachers and students.The conclusion of this paper summarizes the contents of the paper,and the paper on the role of the undergraduate tutorial system in china' ordinary universities.As well as the innovation and shortcomings of the article.
