As the parties pay more and more attention to the school culture,the leading role of the principals in the construction of school culture is also concerned greatly.In this context,this paper mainly researched the leadership behavior of primary school principals in the construction of school culture.School is the place where people are cultivated,its culture is complex,the leadership behavior of the principal in the construction of school culture is also varied,but some of these acts are fundamental to constructing positive school culture.Thus,after researching some related studies,this paper proposed that the principal should put forward vision and mission,Set an example,share powerand take individualized consideration.Also,this paper used the questionnaire to test the effectiveness of these four leadership behavior for constructing positive culture and to find out the action effect.But researching these four leadership behavior only is clearly not comprehensive,taking the complexity of the reality into account,this paper also used the interview to analysis other leadership behavior of principals in the process of constructing school culture and further to extract the effective and ineffective leadership behavior.In order to provide greater suggestions for the primary school principals,this paper mainly researched the badly done ones among these four leadership behavior and other problematic leadership behavior.Through the analyses of the questionnaire results and interview data,this paper found that the primary school principals didn't do enough in the differentiated management,the share of decision-making power and management responsibilities,in addition,the primary school principals paid one-sided attention to the physical form of school culture,were limited by school conditions when constructing material culture,neglected the quality of school cultural activities while over considering the safety,divided school culture mechanically and proposed improper value of school culture.Then through the comprehensive research of the reasons for above poor behavior,this paper advocated that national policy makes,educational administration department,academia and principals' selves should make efforts.
