With the development of geography education,people are paying more attention to students' practical ability.In particular,the ability of field investigation has become an important concept of geography curriculum reform." International Charter on Geography Education " and " the Ordinary High School Geography Curriculum Standard",have explicitly pointed out that schools need to carry out practical activities of geographical investigation.Field practice course plays an important role on training students' geography practical ability,and is an integral part of the geography curriculum system.Therefore,it is an inevitable choice for the geography teachers to focus on the development and implementation of field practice course.This thesis is based on the Curriculum Standard of Geography in the Ordinary High School.The content launches research on the previous research of geographical field practice and the development of activity curriculum.A conclusion is draw through the analysis of geography teaching practice in Zhaoxian County.The body of the thesis includes three parts.Firstly,it introduces the present situation of geographical field practice course.This part defines the core concept and summarizes the domestic and abroad researches and further analyses the theoretical basis of the field practice course.Second,it gets the present situation of geography field practice of high school in Zhaoxian county by the questionnaire.It analysis the main factors influencing the development of field practice course.The main factors are the aging structure of teachers' and the monotonous way of teaching evaluation.Last,it puts forward the corresponding suggestions,combined with the concept of new curriculum reforms.Suggestions are as follows: improve the comprehensive quality of geography teachers;implement the concept of geography curriculum reform;establish a scientific reasonable and operational teaching evaluation system.Thirdly,combined with the characteristic local resources,it explores the development of the geography field practice course,in order to provide somereference for the field practice teaching.
