| Maritime education plays a fundamental and leading role in the vigorous development of the shipping industry.The advanced navigation talent competition is the key to maritime power competition between countries.The maritime instructors of high quality are the key to training advanced navigation talents with international competitiveness.As the Manila Amendments to the International Convention on STCW has been passed,several competences and new requirements for relevant competence of officers and ratings are added into the list of competence standards.These knowledge and skills are new for instructors who are engaged in maritime education and training.Thus,the instructor training has naturally become the focus of establishing a team of instructors in maritime universities and colleges.However,on the one hand,China lacks understanding of training maritime instructors and systematic management.On the other hand,although numerous scholars have pointed out the problems existing in training maritime instructors and proposed the relevant measures,there is no systematic and comprehensive training system.Thus,the instructor training evaluation system of nautical technology is further investigated in the research,in order to improve the level of instructors of nautical technology.Aiming to solve the problems existing in training instructors of nautical technology,three aspects of the research are carried out on the basis of field survey.Firstly,the domestic instructor training system of nautical technology is compared with its foreign counterpart so as to summarize the research results.Secondly,the training effect of instructors of nautical technology is assessed in accordance with the CIPP model.The relevant indexes of background evaluation,input evaluation,process evaluation and product evaluation are established with the assistance of the CIPP model.The weight of each index is determined by Analytic Hierarchy Process and is calculated by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.As a result,the training effect evaluation system of instructors of nautical technology is established.Based on the calculation results,specific suggestions to improve the training effect of instructors of nautical technology are put forward accordingly.Thirdly,a comprehensive study on the instructor training evaluation system of nautical technology is carried out by interviewing relevant instructors of nautical technology and learning their career planning.The research,for one thing,puts forward a practical method for researching the instructor training effect by maritime universities or relevant organizations;for another thing,it provides reference for establishing a team of instructors of nautical technology. |
