With the development of the society and the reform of education,quality-oriented education has become one of the most important point for Chinese education.The government has focused on mental health education which is an important part of quality-oriented education in recent years.Elementary school is the key period for children to grow up.Elementary school students are more likely to have psychological problems.If the problems haven't been solved,they will have bad impacts on students' mental health and make them negative.In order to promote students' harmonious development,many primary and secondary schools launched mental health education in our country.Due to the limitation on economy and education,mental health education is not balanced and there are still many problems.Mental health education influenced by these problems severely.However,there are still some schools in forefront of practice of carrying out mental health education,on which they have fruitful experience.Because of the outstanding results in long-term mental health education practice,H elementary school was awarded the honor of outstanding elementary school of mental health education in 2015 through the election of national outstanding school of mental health education.H primary school serves as the research object in this paper.This paper uses interviews,questionnaires and other research methods to carry out a survey on students and teachers.The author has carried out the survey on mental health education of primary school H by studying the leadership of the organization,conditions of security,education and teaching,discipline development and implementation effect of the situation.Based on the case study of psychological health education,school can use the following methods to carry out mental health education: the establishment of rules and regulations,making rule-based work,paying attention to the construction of part-time teachers to improve the professional quality of teachers,improving the hardware facilities to provide good educational conditions,setting up preparatory funds to prepare security work,holding curriculum based activities to meet the students' development needs for campus culture,carrying outosmotic psychological education to create psychological education atmosphere,conducting mental health education in a variety of forms,combining the psychological characteristics with age differences,paying attention to the "school-family-society" cooperative education,paying attention to the students' practice and school-based teaching material,establishing organization for regulating teaching and research activities to promote the development of disciplines.At the same time,according to its result,the problems of mental health education in H primary school are analyzed,and the strategies of optimizing the mental health education of this school are put forward to promote the better development of mental health education in here and to provide a theoretical and practical reference for other schools.
