| As a lustrous pearl in the palace of literary,classical Chinese is of great importance.In the contemporary Chinese teaching of the high school,classical Chinese teaching has become the key and difficult point as a result of the increasingproportion of classical Chinese texts.For one thing,classicalChinese is the heritage of Chinese traditional culture,from which we can learn a lot about excellent thoughts and strengthof character of ancient people.For the other,as an essential part of collage entrance examination on Chinese,classical Chinese makes up 15%of the total scores.However,classical Chinese teaching,which is viewed as a dull job by most front-line teachers,fails to arouse student’s interests.It is also possible for students to only get a rough understanding of the literal meaning in stead of the literariness and thoughts of the texts written by classical Chinese,which is rooted in the evaluation mechanism of exam-oriented education.I eager to change such a situation and persist in the research for better teaching methods after graduation.Guided by the democracy and scientific management of Wei Shusheng and students-centredness educational ideas of Guo Sile,three-main and five-step teaching method is the product of the class teaching reform in Sangzhi county.Three "main"means taking students as the main part of learning,taking the teacher as the main guidance and taking training as the main line.Five steps are defined as directional self-study,groupdiscussion,presentation,generalization and consolidation,including self-management and independent study.Although the classical Chinese teaching plays an important role in enhancing highschool students’ foundation of literary,the teaching methodsareoften dry and boring and always stay the same.Teacherstry their best to spoon feed everything to their students,who can’t help dozing off in class.The author thinks it isa significant measure to introduce and promote three-main and five-step teaching method in classical classroom. |
