A Research On The New Generation Married Female Migrant Workers Of Their Limited Disembeddedness Lifestyle

Living in a transitional period which is full of modernity and mobility,the newly formed rural-to-urban migrant workers are sure to be different to the previous generation and have different fates. Sufficient evidence provided by numerous researchers can prove it. While one thing we should notice is that a lot of previous researches are conducted on the hypothesis that the new generation migrant workers are unmarried, and researches pay little attention to the young's marital status. While the fact is that more and more new generation migrant workers are getting married and becoming young parents with time going. After all, those who were born in 1980s are already 27-37 years old. They have to adjust themselves to the new role, undertake new responsibility. Because of the traditional culture, rules, regulations and something like that, the women will fall into greater press in the coming transition.In this article, the daily life of the new generation married female migrant workers are observed from 3 aspects: job mobility, housework distribution and upbringing. Their behavior and idea are used to check whether their lifestyle are similar to the older generation. And it shows that this group tend to but not totally dis-embed from the traditional lifestyle.Considering the family life cycle and the gender construction of age, we find the individual will pay more attention to her family roles and social responsibilities when they are not the unmarried. And it is in the family expansion and completion stage that the peak state occurs. it is also the result of gender social construction,their family roles cover their subjectivity.In the process of social individualization,we can see that there has been a great change in their lifestyle which can be called life politics. This embedded group need to seek a new room to put themselves,the family may be a good choice since they are closely linked in some way.
