After China's reform and open,economic development has promoted a significant increase in employment opportunities in cities,and the change of production mode also made a large number of rural labor enter into the cities looking for employment opportunities.However,the household registration system has caused institutional barriers for the transfer of the rural population in terms of the health,education,social security and so on.Under living and reality pressure,the migrant workers' children has been left at home and brought up by their parent,grandparents or other relatives.So far,the special group namely left-behind children in the development of urbanization came into being.In recent years,campus violence,school bus accidents,the guardian abuse have caused left-behind children casualties,and other serious incidents sparked heated debate on the Internet,especially the sexual abuse of girls.These made author focus on gender difference aspect to left-behind children' safety and the special risk of left-behind girls.Lack of care leads to lack of sex education and the thought of preference of boys to girls both caused the girl's inferiority and lack of the right to speak.Therefore,the safety of left-behind girls must get attention from all walks of life.The paper is based on social learning theory and empowerment theory.The author conducted a questionnaire survey of the safety situation of 120 left-behind girls in A school in L.The author found that the left-behind girls' main guardianship is inter-generational guardianship,and in terms of safety mainly faced a variety of unknown risk,such as family violence,campus violence,abduct and traffic and lack of sexual abuse perception.The author interviewed with some left-behind girls and teachers,and found that a variety of safety problems are due to the lack of family education and care,weak sense of self-protection,the low level of school safety education and inadequate social support system.The author used the demand as the fundamental basis for conceptual design,and applied four themes including common safety knowledge,campus violence and family violence,abduct and traffic and sexual abuse of girls,and girls' self protection.Then the author used the group work to help left-behind girls to enhance self-protection awareness,safety knowledge and skills,and realized the particularity of left-behind girls' safety.Finally,the author summarized the suggestions through effect evaluation among team themes,methods and the advantages of evaluation and the time arrangement,activity content,atmosphere control,working method to provided some experience and reference point on left-behind girls' safety for other scholars.The authors also affirmed the applicability of social work methods on left-behind girls' safety problem,and from the perspective of social work gave government,school,community,family and peer group some suggestions on left-behind girls' safety.
