It is the the implementation of geography elective course that means a great improvement of the quality education.But in the actual job of teaching appears a lot of problems.As a high school geography teacher,the writer paid more attention to the issue.After reading a large number of literature,works,the writer found that most scholars research direction are the implementation of the status quo,and the countermeasures are still too broad,so it is too difficult to implement in practical teaching.Therefore,the writer took classroom teaching as a breakthrough point,focusing on the high school geography elective course teaching effect,promoting the development of geography elective course,to improve classroom teaching effect.The main content of this article is divided into five parts:Part 1 is introduction,it briefly introduced the backgrounds,analyzed the meaning of topic,and illustrated a literature review.The writer also emphasized the innovation in this paper,and summarized the research methods and technical route in the end.Part 2 are the definitions and theoretical basis.It Mainly defined the geography course and the teaching evaluation,i t introduced the theoretical basis of this article:theory of multiple intelligence and constructivism theory.Part 3 is the construction of the index system.The system aims to build an evaluation index,through releasing questionnaires for teachers and students on the basis of building purposes and principles.As for the index weight calculation,this paper used the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),evaluation index system is constructed by calculation.Finally the index system of quantitative will be used in practical teaching as one of the research results.Part 4 is the teaching effect promotion strategy.According to the weight of each index in the index system,the writer determined the main factors of affecting the middle school geography elective course teaching effect,and put forward school geography elective course teaching effect promotion strategies,that is "setting teaching goals","choosing teaching content","cultivating teaching quality","improving the art of teaching" and "promoting the development of students".Part 5 is conclusion.The writer made a summary of achievements in the research and put forward the existence of deficiency in this paper.In this paper,the research results are from the perspective of teacher and of high practical value which can be applied in practical teaching.
