Extracurricular autonomous learning as an important supplement form of classroom learning plays more and more important role for students.Accompanied by a gradual integration of information technology in the education,the m-learning APP developed rapidly for students'autonomous learning.According to the characteristics of elementary school students and combined with the survey of school students,nano box is more suitable for students with its feature of powerful and interesting than other APPP.So this research will study m-learning APP nano box with elementary student's extracurricular English autonomous learning,which will cultivate students'autonomous learning awareness.And we will also explore the learning strategy and effect of nano box.This research will use the questionnaire survey method,interview method and literature research method.The present situation of theoretical research on the development of mobile learning APP is reviewed and summarized for the autonomous tearning of primary school students at home.It will be explored about the current situation and existing problems of extracurricular autonomous learning in the form of questionnaires and interviews with students,teachers and parents.This paper designed a set of learning strategies according to the requirement of English curriculum on English course for grade five students in primary school and characteristics of nano box.By the end of the article a case is implemented guide the student to carry on the extracurricular autonomous learning on six aspect of listening,speaking,reading,writing,acting and translation.According to the students' self evaluation,evaluation with each other and examination after the implementation of the case,nano box as one mobile learning app has the obvious effect to improve interest in English and English listening,speaking,reading and writing ability.Because the effect of nano box has a certain relationship with the self-control ability,Reasonable guide for students can effectively cultivate students' awareness of autonomous learning.The purpose of this article is exploring the effective extracurricular autonomous learning strategy and cultivate students' ability of autonomous learning based on study of extracurricular autonomous learning in elementary school by nano box.
