With the development of economy,the demand for high-level talents has shown a rapid increase.And the postgraduate education is the main way to cultivate high-level talents which is a significant part of the national innovation system.Since the reform and opening,China's education of master degree has made great achievements.But as pointed out by the Ministry of Education,the National Development and Reform Commission,the Ministry of Finance Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Postgraduate Education(Teaching and Research [2013] No.1),overall,the postgraduate education cannot fully adapt to the diversification of economy and society.Compare with the international education system,the quality of domestic education still has a long way to go.In order to understand our university's situation of the postgraduate education,this paper uses a questionnaire to survey the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei university students whose major are statistics for curriculum,teaching methods,mentor guidance,scientific research innovation,social practice and examination aspects.With the "big data" concept coming,the needs of the statistical knowledge of the professional is growing.In 2011,statistics grows from the second subjects to the discipline,statistics graduate enrollment scale is also rapidly expanding.For economics degree graduate students,science degree graduate students have different training direction,we train academic graduate students,professional graduate students at the same time is difficult.All this put forward statistical graduate training to higher requirements.According to the research,to help us understanding the situation of postgraduate educatiton and exploring the potential problems as well as the reform direction.Furthermore,to investigate the factors that might affect the students' satisfaction.Then putting forward of opinions and suggestions for cultivating graduate students major in statistics,including improve the quality of postgraduates' education and promote the connotative development of statistics.In conclusion,the study found that the current statistical postgraduates lack of passion to do researches as the first aspect,then the quality of guidance for students need to be improved,thirdly,teaching methods and teaching content is relatively simple.As well as the curriculum system,it still has a very big omprovement space.At the same time,teaching methods and academic research atmosphere is an important factor affecting the satisfaction of postgraduate students.
