Rural education is the deficiency of current education,the urban-rural dual structure leads the inevitable differences in urban-rural education,solving the problem of the imbalance between urban and rural education is the priority of the educational work.The art education in primary school plays an important role in the students' physical and mental development,as it cultivates their tastes and personalities,it also stimulates their innovative spirits and expands their development spaces,and it helps them to appreciate the aesthetic value,these are the main reasons why it makes a big diffidence in their whole lives and even in the whole society.Therefore,how to create a better development in art education in primary school under the background of the integration of urban and rural education is the research basis of this thesis.First of all,based on the observation of classroom teaching of two typical urban and rural schools,analyzing the existing problems and gaps in the art education in urban and rural schools.Then investigating and analyzing the current situation of the art education in urban and rural schools in the south of Henan province to find the real problem through a questionnaire survey.Lastly,finding a practical solution to create a better development for the art education towards the goal of the integration of urban and rural education,and it also provides the theoretical basis for teachers' training in the south of Henan province.Besides,this thesis provides the reference for other schools' researches on the existing problems and solutions in the same field in the south of Henan province.This thesis is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction which includes the research background,significance and literature review.The second part involves the introduction of the research object and method,the research thought also included.The third chapter is about the research result and analysis,identifying the existing problems in the rural art education through the scientific analysis of the data which collected by the education observation and survey on urban and rural art education in primary schools.The fourth chapter shows the problems and solutions improving the current situation in rural art education in the south of Henan province.
