The rural junior high school students' academic development is the focus of development stage of education high balanced compulsory attention,academic development can solve the problem of rural junior high school students,to a certain extent determines the success or failure of the balanced development of compulsory education.As the organizer and executor of teaching activities,teachers' professional quality is considered as the key factor affecting the development of rural junior high school students.From the current research status,previous studies are on the affecting factors on the professional quality of teachers and students' academic development,but for the empirical study on the influence of teachers' professional quality on academic development of rural junior high school students are quite scarce.However,How about the overall situation of rural teachers professional quality in the end ? Whether teachers' professional quality can affect the development of rural junior middle school students? What aspects of professional quality can have a direct impact on the academic development of rural junior high school students?What is the way to affect the students' academic development? Based on this,this study determines the relationship between teachers' professional quality and rural junior high school students' academic development.This study is based on the Stanford University Rural Education Action Plan(REAP),Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy(CCAP)and the Henan University International Center for Educational Action Research(ICARE)cooperation in the “Henan rural junior middle school teaching and learning situation of the research project” project database.By using multiple regression,stepwise regression and Bootstrap analysis to discusses the relationship between teachers' professional quality and academic development of rural junior middle school students,the conclusions are as follows:(1)the overall professional quality of teachers in rural areas of central China is not high,there is still a lot of room for improvement.(2)The professional quality of teachers has a significant positive impact on rural junior high school students' academic performance and learning view.(3)The professional concept of teachers has no significant impact on rural junior middle school students' learning achievement,have a significant positive impact on rural junior high school students' learning motivation;teachers' professional knowledge has a significant positive impact on rural junior middle school students' learning achievement,has a significant negative impact on Rural Junior high school students' learning motivation;teachers' professional ability have a significant positive impact on rural junior middle school students' learning achievement and learning motivation.(4)Teaching view play a a part intermediary role between the professional quality of teachers and learning achievement,teaching view play a a part intermediary role between the professional quality of teachers and learning motivation;Students' degree of concern play a a part intermediary role between the professional quality of teachers and learning achievement,students' degree of concern play a a part intermediary role between the professional quality of teachers and learning motivation.Based on the results of the data analysis,the author puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Pay attention to the professional quality of rural teachers and promote the balanced development of compulsory education.(2)Establish an effective incentive mechanism to attract talented people to teach in rural areas.(3)Strengthen the reform of the school to provide a relaxed environment for the growth of Teachers.(4)Optimize the training of rural teachers,improve the effectiveness of teacher training.(5)Rural teachers should set up a correct view of teaching and pay attention to the development of every student.In order to enhance quality of rural compulsory education in our country.
