To solve the problem of "teaching content" which exists in reality commonly in prose teaching,the point is reasonable text interpretation.This paper attempts to detemine the appropriate content of prose teaching from the perspective of close reading.Based on the actual survey data,this paper analyzes some practical problems such as the lack of interpretation theory,the superstition,the interpretation of rigid and neglecting learning situation.Based on colleting the abundant literature,and a large number of cases analysis,this paper attempts to analyzes these problems from the utilitarian teaching under the examination-oriented education,the misunderstanding of the new curriculum reform concept,the overlooking of the learning situation,the ability to interpret the text,the confusion of knowledge and ability.At the same time,it analyzes the content of prose teaching based on close reading from three dimensions.This part tries to provide the theoretical basis for the following practice part,to maket the later discussion more reasonable.In order to make the teaching strategy more comprehensive,this article from two aspects of common and individual prose interpretation of to determine the content of prose teaching.The common aspects are trying to read from the prose style,the writing background of the prose,the intonation of the prose and the sentence,and the key words of the prose.Personality aspects are from the individual expression,personalized emotional objects,unique emotional awareness of three aspects to explore,with a view to a more comprehensive case design.Finally,based on the common and individual point of view,"Lotus Pond Moon" as an example of teaching design..
