Since the middle of the eighties of the twentieth century,technological revolution and business society have brought new civilization and wealth to the world,and at the same time it also caused a series of problems.Because of increasing social competition pressure,the spiritual crisis has become increasingly prominent,besides,the one-sided emphasis on wealth and economic development has also led to the loss of individual self,and the overall social morality and values have also changed.It is in this context,the world has carried out educational reform,the central idea is "people-oriented",And the traditional teaching model has been unable to adapt to the development of new forms,students in this situation under the weary mood.To alleviate the purpose of student weariness,most of the Western countries has been setted up a comprehensive curriculum to reduce the course category,history classes are included in the comprehensive curriculum.The United Kingdom,by this wave of tide,carried out a thorough reform of the crisis in the history class after World War II,and the history of England has been an independent course and has not been merged with other courses into a comprehensive section.And our country keeps reforming of basic education under the guidance of "education should be oriented to the modernization,the world,the future".History,the same subject to the British history before the reform.That is,history lessons are not valued,teaching methods Obsolete,students think history lessons are useless and so on.Therefore,this paper makes a comparative study of the history curriculum reform of Sino-British secondary schools in the past 30 years,draws lessons from the reform of the UK and inspiration from them,to help the history of our country out of the woods.It is said "with a copper mirror,you can dress;with history as one's mirror,you can know the solution;with other people as mirror,you can understand the gains and losses".Learning history is aimed at drawing a lesson from the past for the future.This paper also studies the history curriculum reform of Chinese and English middle school,and takes "the essence and the dross" from the gains and losses of the reform of the history curriculum of the middle school,and draws lessons from the reform of the British middle school history curriculum.The main part of this paper includes the background of the reform of middle school history curriculum in China and Britain,the comparison of historical curriculum reform between China and the United Kingdom and the reflection on the reform of history curriculum in China andits suggestions.The most important content is to make a comparative study of the history curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum of Chinese and English secondary schools,and find out the enlightenment of the history curriculum objectives,curriculum content and curriculum of the history of China.The study of British history curriculum reform is to serve the reform of history curriculum in middle schools in China.Therefore,this paper will focus on the reflection and suggestion of China's history curriculum reform,and provide reference for future curriculum reform.
