| Urbanization is a major strategy for the development of our country.It’s the inner motive power of the continuing,healthy and fast-growing economy.It is also a huge push to boost domestic demand and sustain the growth of economy.Rural primary and secondary schools are one of the key components of rural education.The quality of rural primary and secondary schools is the important guarantee to improve the quality of our overall national.The rural primary and secondary schools should be in the important position and be energetically developed which can be favorable to speed up the speed and efficiency of urbanization construction.However,the process of urbanization will bring new challenges to the rural primary and secondary schools.Whether meeting challenges and finding out the corresponding countermeasures will determine the development of the quality of rural primary and secondary schools and the efficiency of urbanization construction.This paper defines the concepts of urbanization and rural primary and secondary schools,expounds the related theories of urbanization and rural primary and secondary schools.This paper also summarizes the impact of urbanization on rural primary and secondary schools.On this basis,to a town as a case,we analyze the problems existing in rural primary and secondary schools.Through the interview to teachers,parents and students,we find that the urbanization brought serious challenges to rural primary and secondary schools,mainly includes: the layout and the education spending of rural primary and secondary schools are inadequate;excellent teachers are seriously missing;The students’ moral decline seriously and the schools are difficult in moral education;Left-behind children’s mental health and learning habits have some problems.On this basis,the author puts forward the ways to deal with the challenges of the development of rural primary and secondary schools: first of all,improving the structure of rural education and adjust the layout of rural primary and secondary schools;Second,increasing the education investment in rural primary and secondary schools to ensure a good development of rural education;Third,to build an excellent teacher team in rural primary and secondary schools;Fourth,adjusting the educational objectives and improving the curriculum structure of primary and secondary schools;Fifth,perfecting the mechanism of psychological counseling and innovating the management mode of left-behind children. |
