With the seriously growing environmental problems appearing, the social attention to environmental education becomes more and more widespread. The core to solve the environmental problem is the establishment of environmental protection concept. In China, to regulate the students' behavior of environmental protection and help student to set up correct concept of environment is the urgent need of education and environmental protection career. Arming at the situation of infusion model of environmental education curriculum in China and the similarity of the nature, rationale and objective between the geography curriculum and the environmental education curriculum, teachers' setting the environmental education in geography curriculum purposefully is an important way to cultivate students' quality of geography and environmental protection in high school period. This thesis is a research about the development and utilization of the curriculum resource in the environmental education in high school geography curriculum.The first chapter is an introduction. It colligate the domestic and foreign research,reviews the research status and problems, and discusses the background and significance of the study and proposes the research thinking.Based on the concepts of environmental education and geography curriculum resou-rces, the second chapter defines the concept and the theoretic basis of the development and utilization of the curriculum resource in the environmental education in high school geography curriculum. The third chapter elaborates that the development and utilization of the curriculum resource in the environmental education in high school geography curriculum have to be combined with geography teaching. It based on the demands of curriculum criterion, geographic textbook and students' learning needs.The fourth and fifth chapter shows principles and processes,and illustrates four examples,which combines the theoretical research and the geographic teaching practice and provides a reference for teachers to develop and utilize the curriculum resources of geographical environment education in high school.The sixth chapter includes a summary of the full text, the rethink of inadequacies of the research, as well as the future prospects for the research.
