Study On Information Literacy Improvement Of Migrant Workers' Children:

As the accelerated process of urbanization, the population mobility has become frequently and the quantity of the migrant workers' children has increased constantly,which leads to problems that migrant workers' children met in the field of education.With the development of information technology, information literacy has become an important part of the core competence of students, and educational informatization brings not only opportunities but also challenges to the migrant workers' children.Therefore, the information literacy training of migrant workers' children, which is in urgency, become a major prerequisite for migrant workers' children to integrate into local community. This paper, takes two migrant workers' children schools as an example, has analyzed current status and five influencing factors of information literacy of migrant workers' children. In addition, the paper makes a comparative analysis of the two schools from the aspect of infrastructure construction, teacher training system, teaching resource construction and information literacy curriculum.Then through the analysis of the redeeming feature and existing problems in the practice of information literacy training, the article summarizes and proposes some strategies, so as to provide reference for cultivation and promotion of information literacy of migrant workers' children. This paper mostly discusses from the following aspects:The first chapter is introduction, which mainly elaborates the origin of the research, the significance of the research and the research ideas. It also defines the related concepts and analyzes the current research situation in China and abroad.The second chapter is about the analysis of the current situation of information literacy of migrant workers' children. Some data about information literacy of migrant workers' children is obtained through the questionnaire survey, to analyzes the status of information literacy level of migrant workers and their differences in groups, gender and grade.The third chapter is for the analysis of the influence factors of information literacy of migrant workers' children. Based on detailed analysis of the literature related to factors of information literacy, this chapter explores the influencing factors of information literacy of migrant workers' children,and establishes model of these factors.The fourth chapter is about the practice exploration of the information literacy development of migrant workers' children. This paper studies the measures and methods of information literacy development for the migrant workers' children in two primary schools, and sums up the practical strategies and problems existing in the improvement of information literacy of migrant workers' children.The fifth chapter is the analysis of the information literacy promotion strategies of migrant workers' children. Based on the research above, this chapter puts forward some suggestions, such as narrow the gap of information cognitive through diversified information activities, narrow the gap of information emotion with abundant information environment, narrow the gap of information skills through the student-centered teaching methods.The sixth chapter is about summary and prospect. This chapter reviews the research results of this study, summarizes the deficiencies during the research process,and looks forward to the direction of future research.
