In the rapid development of knowledge-based economy today. The emergence of autonomous teaching of physical education teaching model also has a certain role in promoting, This study aims to carry out self-learning through physical education teaching model, And discuss the influence of the teaching mode on the students' physical and mental development. Research purposes: Junior high school students to implement self-learning mode of teaching, Observe the changes of students' interest, physical quality and attitude of self-study before and after the experiment. Research methods: Through the Donghai County Anfeng Junior High School eighth grade 1 class, 3 classes, After a total of 16 weeks of self-teaching and traditional teaching, Observe the change of interest,physical quality and attitude of self - study of physical education before and after the experiment, And to explore the effect of autonomous teaching on junior middle school students' PE and health course. The control class adopts the traditional teaching mode,while the experimental class adopts the autonomous learning teaching mode.Through the survey and analysis concluded that the following conclusions:1.The use of self-learning method of teaching, male students height, weight, vital capacity, seat flexion, 1000 meters run no significant change, 50 meters run, standing long jump, pull up the results have improved significantly; female students height,weight, Lung capacity, seat flexion, 800 meters run, standing long jump, one minute sit-ups did not change significantly, in the 50-meter run results have improved significantly.2. The use of self-learning method of teaching, in addition to "like the physical education," this one did not change significantly, other aspects have significantly improved.3.The use of self-learning method of teaching, the ability of students to self-learning,learning methods, emotional performance and learning attitude has not changed, in the spirit of interaction and cooperation has improved significantly.
