As Malaysia is a developing and multiracial country,Malay language remains as the national language and the mother tongue of many.Therefore,Malaysian Chinese has a'special' to survive in this country.Most of the children of Malaysian Chinese are capable of speaking multi-languages.The children of Malaysian Chinese spend their six years of primary education in(Government Chinese Primary School).However,as they are to enroll their secondary education,the parents will need to decide whether their children should spend another five or six years in Government secondary school to acquire Malaysia educational syllabus or to Malaysia Chinese Independent School where children acquire different educational syllabus.Malaysia Chinese Independent School will be the subject of this study.Since young,children of Malaysian Chinese will be able to master in bilingual,which in Malay language(the national language)and also Mandarin(the mother tongue).Being the Chinese Independent School students,they are required to acquire different/various subjects and have the ability to think from different aspects.In Malaysia Chinese Independent School,there are two different categories of students:Junior section and Senior section.Students in Malaysia Chinese Independent School are compulsory to register themselves in two public examinations:(i)UEC(ii)PT3The subject that is discussed in this survey will be learning Mathematics.Students of Malaysian Chinese Independent School need to sit for their UEC and PT3.Yet,the syllabus and system of teaching of both Government School and Independent School are totally different.These include the syllabus and medium used in teaching(UEC-English language;PT3-Malay language).As the immature students in Independent School,they are unable to cope with the abundance subjects,homework,tests and examinations,as well as the stress from their parents.Soon,these students will lose their interest and faith in their studies.Therefore,it is hoped that,through 'right timing'(based on the situation of Malaysia Chinese Independent School)to effectively enhance the teachers' teaching skills and at the same time attracting/keeping the interests of the students in learning Mathematics.Two years were spent on carrying out the revolutionize idea and method,and it is discovered that part of the students are interested while the other part of the students are not.But,throughout the teaching years,there are lots of changes and improvement.It was my perspectives on teaching has changed according to the trend of new generations.Students of different years,need different methods of teaching.Hence,different and various of educating styles will also motivate the students to be innovative and creative.
