Counselors is an important part of the university students' management team and teachers' team.who has the multiple identities such as teachers,consultants,cadres,and student's academic advisor,the student's bosom friends,education workers,employees and other roles.Is to carry out the ideological and political education,mental health education of the backbone strength,is indispensable part of the university students' work.However,counselors work in colleges and universities present situation is not very desirable,working often have blurred,content and trival,low volume,overall treatment,promotion problems such as less space.At the same time,in the face of the students safety and maintain stability,and so on,are also under tremendous psychological pressure.Today,in private colleges,the counselor team construction of how to develop to satisfy the demand of contemporary college students,and satisfy the private colleges education system itself,for non-governmental university counselor team construction of one of the main contradiction problems.Selecting,training and motivating college counselors,which has become the main factors that influent the high performance college counselors work.This study is based on the theory of sociology that come,from the school,student counselor role expectations and counselor's working condition on the basis of elements of the counselor competence analysis study.The main task of the paper understand the state of college students' competence evaluation of instructors and students demand for counselor position.Is to through the conception,designing the counselor competence questionnaire,and distributing in the OY college undergraduate students to complete the questionnaire.Secondly,grant self-report questionnaire to instructors,understanding the competency assessment of counselors itself and the cognitive situation,further create the counselor competence among related key library.Again,we through in-depth interviews with outstanding representatives,by behavioral event interview method to obtain the relevant competency.Finally,counselors work related departments and personnel,such as personnel,office,student affairs service center,and student development of access,who also use interview methods to obtain the counselor competence of valuable information.According to the counselor competence elements of the investigation,analysis and finishing,design competence factor score questionnaire of university counselors,and summarize the result of the questionnaire,analysis,clear degree of important emergency competence elements,the counselor's competency model is constructed.In nowadays personnel management of the analysis of existing problems of university counselors is fundamentally,thinking and discussing in view of the competency model of college counselors hiring,performance,salary,training,and problems should be paid attention to work and the work process.These research can be used as selection,training,assessment of counselors,professional development train of thought,by sorting out the counselor construction basis and model of competence.Research results can also be used for the domestic numerous private college counselors team construction for reference.
