The role of Chinese textbook illustration in the process of language learning is irreplaceable.Illustrations have an unparalleled advantage over words,in the primary school students understand the level of things,illustrations are more visual and intuitive.Illustrations can quickly express the content of the text meaning,or even the expression of the text can not express the meaning.In addition to attach to the existence of the text,the illustrations also convey a special value,which can better serve the primary language teaching.Since the founding of the country,there have many versions of the textbooks,which teach the most widely used textbooks,the most influential.This paper chooses nine sets of typical PEP textbooks of primary school textbooks,analyzes the form of textbook illustrations and the values of passing in six periods.Summarize the characteristics and trends of values and changes in the value of this figure.This paper is divided into four parts:Chapter one: Introduction.This chapter mainly introduces the research origin,the research object,explains the research methods of the paper,defines the core concept of the textbook and the textbook illustration,lays the foundation for the research of this article.At the same time,it clarifies the contents of the two fields in the whole attribute level and the teaching application level of the textbook illustrators at home and abroad.Chapter two: The change of illustration of primary school Chinese textbooks.The main content of this chapter is to use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze and summarize the art style,quantity,type characteristics and trend of change of the six periods.Chapter three: The change of values in the illustrations of primary school Chinese textbooks.First of all,the values of the illustrations are divided into 11 categories of love party patriotism,love of labor,love of nature,environmental protection,love of science.Secondly,it analyzes the content characteristics of different values in different periods.Finally,it analyzes the trends of change in the 11 kinds of educational values passed in different periods.Chapter four: Reflections and suggestions on the illustrations of primary school Chinese textbooks.The main content of this chapter is to reflect on the illustrations and values of primary school textbooks and make suggestions.Illustration style must have a unique idea of being different from Chinese style of other countries,the quantity and quality of illustrations should be taken into account at the same time,illustration types should be classified and balanced,the values conveyed by illustrations should be strong and clear,taking into account the social,national,individual,natural science and other fields.Illustrations should be closely compatible with the needs of contemporary society and the needs of people,with distinctive characteristics of the times.Follow the footsteps of the times at the same time,but also do not forget to review the origin.
