Currently, the development of students' personality and the cultivation of innovative talents are regarded as an important task of education for each country, the personalized teaching has become the goal of the new curriculum reform in China. With the application of new technology in education and teaching, the "personalized teaching of the cloud classroom" in primary and secondary schools has gradually become the highlight for the reform and research of the basic education in Chongqing. Since it was officially launched in 2010, There have been nearly 200 cloud classrooms from more than 100 schools, 20 counties in Chongqing for the piloting of the cloud classroom with a large number of backbone teachers trained for the teaching application, a number of teaching experience and teaching mode explored and formed as well and a number of typical cases in the teaching application are accumulated as well. It is of great significance to deepen the reform of basic education curriculum in Chongqing, promote the balanced development of urban and rural education and improve the quality of education and teaching. At the same time, in the implementation process, it also faces many problems and challenges related to educational concept, technology and application. Therefore, the development situation of individualized teaching in primary and secondary schools with cloud classrooms, the main problems and improvement strategies for them are the mostly-concerned aspects for the managers of the personalized pilot education project in Chongqing, the teachers, students and parents in the pilot schools.This paper adopts the literature method, questionnaire method, classroom observation method and case study method, researches on the basis of the way of thinking: to define the related concepts of the cloud classroom-- make analysis of teaching cases-- carry out questionnaire survey of the status quo-- find out the existing problems-- carry out the in-depth analysis of the root of problems-- put forward the improvement strategies.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction of the research in the paper, mainly including the research background and significance, the summary of domestic and foreign research, the research contents and methods, definition of concepts and the theoretical basis.The second part introduces the overall situation of the promotion and the application of personalized teaching in the classrooms of Chongqing primary and secondary schools.The third part is mainly the survey of the present application situation from the aspects of implementation network, terminal, resources and interactive platform for individualized teaching of cloud classroom and analysis of the survey data is also carried out as well.The fourth part is about the problems and the reasons for individualized teaching of cloud classroom in Chongqing primary and secondary schools.The fifth part puts forward the improvement strategies from the aspects of construction environment, teaching organization, teacher's educational technology and students' autonomous learning ability development to improve the teaching effectiveness of cloud classroom.The sixth part is the conclusion. The following conclusions are drawn after the research and analysis:(One) individualized teaching of cloud classroom in Chongqing primary and secondary schools is able to meet the requirements of students' individualized learning.(Two)individualized teaching of cloud classroom in Chongqing primary and secondary schools is able to transform the traditional classroom and the new teaching mode is being gradually formed.(Three) individualized teaching of cloud classroom in Chongqing primary and secondary schools is conductive to promote the deep integration of information technology and subject teaching.(Four) individualized teaching of cloud classroom is conductive to promote the reform and the fair education, as well as the balanced development of urban and rural education.This study will provide a new way of thinking and reference for the application and development of pilot schools for the individualized teaching of cloud classroom in Chongqing and some reference for the cloud classroom and all the subjects' personalized teaching in the digital environment in Chongqing and even all over the country.
