With the continuous development of the new curriculum reform,school-based curriculum has attracted more attention and thus become widely accepted.That many areas and schools have the school-based curriculum development and practice has obtained certain achievement.Geography school-based curriculum development and practice is beneficial to the improvement of the students interest in learning and the cultivation of practice ability.Geography school-based curriculum development and practice help teachers to develop teachers ? professional level.Geography school-based curriculum development and practice is conductive to the formation of school characteristics.Geography school-based curriculum development and practice also riches teaching content.Based on the absorption and reference, the paper focus on the current research status at home and abroad.With the method of questionnaire and interview,geography teachers and students part of Guiyang city attitude towards geography school-based curriculum.the geography school-based curriculum have selection of content and teaching methods and evaluation methods and so on were.so as to further explore in Guiyang city highschool geography school-based curriculum outline and content,we know conditions of Guiyang geography school-based curriculum.By analyzing practical cases,we summarizes the success and failure geography school-based curriculum.Finally,we have put forward outlook of geography school-based curriculum.
