Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Undergraduate Inquiry Learning In Yan'an University

With the rapid development of basic education reformation,the education theory and education practice of our country are reached unparalleled achievement.Inquiry learning is advocated as the major project reform in basic education,while college students completed the inquiry learning just begun to take shape and the scale and effect are less than satisfactory.Aimed at the rule of educational development and needs of students' growth,Yan'an University brings inquiry learning into transformation of education and approves a batch of the educational reform project to develop inquiry learning.Against this background,the author has carried out survey about inquiry learning concerning teachers and students from arts,science and engineering in the university,which is to analysis the problem of undergraduate education and the restricted factors in inquiry learning development.At the same time,the author puts forward measures and suggestions to solve further development of inquiry learning in Yan'an University.This investigation mainly through three aspects: the random questionnaires,personal interviews and the actual teaching process.First,find out the teachers teaching mode and students' learning methods to targeted questionnaire.The questions mainly from the students to explore consciousness,learning methods,examining ways,learning expectation,etc.to receive the data of the specific conditions of the inquiry learning in different disciplines and grade.After that,select different disciplines teachers to get personal interview about construction of inquiry learning situation and students' learning state.Finally,combined actual teaching process to unscramble the current policy about the inquiry learning which is operated by the administrative departments.Based on the survey data statistics analysis,several problems were found in inquiry learning: students had low study interest and weak autonomy;teachers were not willing to cooperate and lack the capacity;education department was shortage of reasonable and clear policies to standardize the inquiry learning.There exist many problems and blanks concerning the improvement of inquiry learning in Yan'anUniversity.In the following part,four implementation countermeasures about how to implement the developing of inquiry learning will be explained.From the perspective of students,they need to strengthen self-consciousness level and stimulate earning motivation;From the perspective of teachers,they should deal fairly with their students which means to concerned more about students' inner feeling and less about their weak foundation;they should change the inherent teaching methods completely from the aspects of the teaching objectives,forms and atmosphere which lead to a new harmony situation between teachers and students;they should strengthen their role cognitions as builders,service providers,collaborators,admirers and critics in the process of inquiry learning;From the communication between teachers and students,the "mailbox between teachers and students","interest Salon" and "interesting sports" might be promote the communication between them and to create a new harmonious phenomena between teachers and students;From the perspective of the administrative departments.They need to construct the consolidation of inquiry learning by organizing teachers attended the class or send them to go out to learn,so that their teaching attainment and capability will be intensified.They need to reasonably comprehensive evaluate the performance of teachers,instead of using one single class or paper comments.They need to set policies to encourage teachers using inquiry learning through priority promotion and increase the number of inquiry learning reform project approval?They need to evaluate students in establishing multi-assessment system,which means instead of using the final exam grades to evaluation students' performance,their learning attitude,progress space,cooperation ability and other sides relative to their further life should be focused on,moreover,students can formative evaluation advocates students' self-assessment,peer-assessment.
