This study aimed to explore the effects of yoga on young and middleaged women body composition and dignity.tries to explain from two aspects of physical and mental fitness effects of Hatha Yoga,Hatha Yoga provide empirical basis for the popularization and promotion.Chengdu city were selected.Maya Yoga Training School of young female members of 66 to zero starting point of practice the experimental object,let it in 4 times,60 min each time a week,12 weeks of Hatha Yoga,at the beginning of the experiment,the sixth week,the end of the experiment were body composition tests and body composition tests with Xu Xia revised "Body Self-esteem Scale" with body composition meter Vivente Silver,SPSS software is used to analyze the data.The results show that:1.The basic situation of the people involved in yoga practice:People who participated in the yoga practice mostly had higher education and higher income.Yoga practitioners practicing motivation in the top three are:decompression,body shaping,the pursuit of love.2.Yoga practice in young and middle-aged women body self-esteem aspect:Yoga training has a positive impact on young and middle-aged female body self-esteem.through 6 weeks of yoga practice exercisers in physical self-worth,the suction of the body these two dimensions has a very significant difference(P<0.01),while the exercisers capacity,the situation of the body,the physical of the body the three dimension showed significant difference(P > 0.05).With the deepening of the practice time,After 12 weeks of five indicators of body self-esteem all have statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting that the yoga practice has obvious effect for theyoung and middle-aged women's body self-esteem.Physical self-worth,the suction of the body have a very significant difference(P < 0.01),the exercisers capacity,the situation of the body,the physical of the body has significant difference before and after exercise(0.01 < P < 0.05).which related to the length of yoga training and the characteristics of the Yoga project itself.After 6 weeks of yoga practice,the participants had significant differences in the subjective physical sensation(0.01 < P <0.05).Participants in the 6 week and 12 weeks of the participants did not show significant differences in the Subjective physical sensation(P > 0.05).3.Yoga practice in young and middle-aged women body composition aspect:After 12 weeks of yoga training on body composition of body weight,body mass index,waist-to-hip ratio,the content of body fat,lean body weight,skeletal muscle weight the six indexes paired sample T test results showed that the yoga training before and after the body composition of each index showed no significant difference(P > 0.05).Although practitioners of body weight,the content of body fat,BMI has a downward trend,skeletal muscle weight increased slightly,but not obvious,no statistical significance(P > 0.05).The data indicates that 12 weeks of yoga practice in young and middle-aged women zero basis practitioner had no significant difference to body composition(P > 0.05).The research results show that Yoga has a positive effect on the dimensions of young female body self-esteem,On the whole,influence of Hatha Yoga on the young woman's body esteem is more Influential than body composition,an effective method that long time yoga practice as training young female body self-esteem development and increase of self-body satisfaction,improve the level of mental health,but also should be integrated into the popular elements and other forms of exercise,to make up for the traditional Hatha Yoga practitioners in the strength of the defects.
