Physical education in college is an important stage in school physical education, and it undertakes an important mission for the development and strengthening of students' physique, and has long-term guiding significance for the students to enter the society and improve their own accomplishment of physical education.Owing to the intrinsic function of sports, physical exercises is regarded as an important method to improve physical quality and develop somatic function.A good understanding of the current status of physical exercises of students in colleges and the exploration of different behaviors of the students in different stages and influential factors have theoretical and practical significance for the further improvement of sports undertakings and physical education in colleges. The study takes the trans-theoretical model and stages of change as the theoretical basis, and regards undergraduate students in Liaoning as research objects, literature method, questionnaire survey, interview and mathematical statistics are used to study on stage characteristics(including general characteristics, gender, grade, and school category etc)of extracurricular physical exercises of the students in 8 undergraduate colleges, and divides the allocation of behavior stages of college students based on “Change Stages of College Students' Physical Exercise(Continuous Measurement)Scale” edited by Jiang Tiefeng and “Self-Efficacy of College Students' Physical Exercise Scale”wrote by Yi Bo,so as to analyze the behavior characteristics of individuals in different stages, further indicate the existing problems in physical education in colleges, and then propose relevant suggestions to solve problems.(1)Based on the analysis of general situation of the college students in Liaoning regarding to extracurricular physical exercises, conclusions can be made that: at current stage, many college students spend most of their time on the internet after class;the cognition degree of physical exercises is high, but most students have no strong persistence;men and women have certain differences in terms of the exercise event, motivation and organization form;the general consumption level of sports is not high.(2)On the basis of analysis and research on physical exercise behaviors of undergraduate students in Liaoning after class,it turns out that college students have five stages in physical exercises,namely,pre-contemplation,contemplation,preparation,action and maintenance. The general allocation shows a “bell” form and most people are at a preparation stage, while a small populationof them are at pre-contemplation stage and maintenance stage.(3)The trans-theoretical model and stages of change is taken as the theoretical basis in this study, while relevant theories about psychics and behavioristics of physical exercises are used to analyze the allocation status of individuals in attending physical exercises in different stages: there is a significance difference among college students of different ages in different grades regarding to the allocation in different behavior stages. There is no significant difference in the comparison of school classification.Self-efficacy has different effects in different stages, and it improves linearly, especially at the stage of action and maintenance, and the score of self-efficacy is high at these stages.(4)From the principal component analysis of influential factors,it can be found that school, individual, family and the society have important influence and effect on the behavior stage allocation as four major factors. In the rank of influential factors, school and individual have greater influence. The difference of different variables in different stages is mainly focused on school, individual and family.
