In the modern times accompanying with the buoyant economy,both of innovation and innovative thinking have long been the words which are frequently heard by people,and national innovation ability is an important benchmark to measure the country’s comprehensive soft power.There are a lot of design professionals in China,but few of them are really creative,which can be traced back to the art class in primary and secondary schools.As an indispensable part in the development of innovative ability among the primary and secondary school students,the art education in primary and secondary schools gives a cold shoulder to the guidance of design thinking and innovative thinking to a certain extent,and the training of students’ innovative thinking fails to meet the requirements of social development.The planned innovative thinking training is one part of the cultivation of innovation ability.First of all,the paper has expounded the significance of creative thinking training in art education,and made the research on the students’ innovative thinking training in primary and secondary school art education,including questionnaires and interviews on both teachers and students.On this basis,the existing problems are found in the status quo after the data statistics and analysis.Moreover,the article has put forward a variety of solutions to these problems.With the purpose of providing more feasible ideas for the future art education,the paper has also introduced some new teaching ideas,such as the training of innovative thinking and the establishment of the basic conception of history.
