With the deepening forward of urbanization,China will face double pressure including a large urban population continuously expanding and small urban population constantly increasing.Population continues to gather in city,producing a huge demand for urban infrastructure services and leading to an increasing gap in infrastructure.At the same time,more and more people pay attention to their match degree.Whether urban infrastructure and urban population is coordinated are the key issues that affect the future development of a country or region.After 30 years of rapid development,China needs to combine the urban infrastructure construction and population development,and explore their development trend and inner relationship.Therefore,the study of the relationship between infrastructure and urban population has gradually become a hot topic in academia and government departments.Before studying the coupling of urban infrastructure and urban population,it is necessary to elaborate the related concept of urban infrastructure and urban population and the theoretical foundation of coordinated development.Firstly,the theoretical basis of infrastructure and urban population are summarized.System theory shows that infrastructure and population can be seen as a system.Cumulative causal theory is used to identify the relationship between infrastructure and population.Coupled coordination theory is used to research on the coordinated development measurement of infrastructure and population.Next,learn from the related scholars,the connotations and characteristics of urban infrastructure and urban population are elaborate and summarize.On this basis,the relationship and mechanism between the urban population and the urban population are analyzed.In order to measure the coordinated development of infrastructure and urban population accurately and objectively,the paper uses the method of literature research and conceptual analysis to construct the evaluation index system of urban infrastructure construction and urban population development level,then it uses the questionnaire survey method and variance weighting method to give the index weight.On this basis,according to the coupling coordination theory,construct the coupling model,then according to the uniform distribution function method,the coupling degree between urban infrastructure and population urbanization is divided.Through the collection and collation of macroeconomic data from various provinces and cities in China since 2000,and using the constructed model of urban infrastructure supply and population development level,the supply level of urban infrastructure and the level of population development are measured.Next,the paper uses the coupling model to calculate the coupling degree of urban infrastructure and urban population in provinces and cities in China.Then,on the basis of the evaluation of the results,the paper analyzes the main factors that influence and restrict the coordinated development between urban infrastructure construction and urban population in China's provinces and cities.Finally,according to the outstanding problems of the coordinated development of urban infrastructure and urban population in China,the corresponding policy suggestions are put forward.
