The 70 th anniversary of the founding of New China, the cause of Chinese as a foreign language has also gone through 70 years. The Confucius Institute continues to grow, and now there are 541 Confucius Institutes and 1170 Confucius Classrooms in the world, which shows that the influence of Chinese is growing.Due to the limitations of overseas Confucius Institutes, the way for students to learn Chinese is mainly in the classroom, and textbooks have become the main tool for students to learn Chinese. The Confucius Institute in Poland currently does not have a syllabus, and paper textbooks are incomplete to select an exactly right textbook for learners. The student at the Warsaw teaching site in Poland is 11 years old,and the textbook provided by the school is "Happy Chinese"(Polish version). The Polish version of the textbook only replaces English of the original cover with Polish, without adding local elements. In terms of textbook content, only the English annotations were replaced with Polish, and the content of the textbook was not designed for local learners. Therefore,in the process of using the first volume of "Happy Chinese",I found some problems. The "one version for multiple textbooks" textbooks cannot fully meet the needs of students overseas, and there will be some "satisfaction".By investigating the students in the Confucius Classroom at Vistula and the students at the author's teaching sit. Results can be concluded as follows,in addition to the interesting and effective nature of the first volume of Happy Chinese,it is not a Poland students-oriented textbook. The textbook does not arrange corresponding content according to the characteristics of students and learning needs, such as the lack of close connection between the new words and the learning needs of Polish students, the lack of local characteristics of new words, and the lack of systematic introduction of Chinese pronunciation.I also interviewed two volunteer teachers in the Confucius Classroom in Vistula.Through investigation and interviews on the use of the first volume of "Happy Chinese",they made suggestions on the use of textbooks, such as adding a variety of phonetic exercises, adding localized vocabularies, and selecting Polish illustrations.,Increase the comparison between Chinese and Polish cultures, and put forward suggestions on the localization of textbooks from the macro and the micro level to provide some references and ideas for the compilation of localized textbooks in Poland. The first chapter of the thesis includes the purpose and significance of the re-search,literature review, research methods and research objects. The second chapter mainly introduces the overview of the Confucius Institute at the Mickiewicz University in Poznan,Poland and the Warsaw teaching site where the author teaches. The third chapter analyzes the first volume of "Happy Chinese" from phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, text, and culture. The fourth chapter is the focus of this article. The author conducted a questionnaire survey on students at the teaching site and Confucius Classroom at the University of Warsaw Vistula University, and analyzed the feedback results of the student questionnaire survey in detail.Chapter 5 is an interview with two Chinese volunteer teachers in the Confucius Classroom at Vistula University in Warsaw, summarizing their opinions on the teaching materials.Chapter 6 summarizes the shortcomings of the first volume of "Happy Chinese(Polish Edition)" based on questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews.Chapter VII puts forward suggestions on the use of textbooks and localization based on the shortage. The eighth part is the conclusion. It mainly summarizes the use of this textbook at the teaching point and points out the deficiencies of this study.
