The teaching of persuasive writing in junior high schools in China needs independent writing textbooks,stones form other hills may serve to polish the jade of this one.This article uses the method of literature,theoretical analysis,comparative study of the United States junior high school section Writer's Choice persuasive writing unit textbook.First of all,the paper analyzes the overall picture of the knowledge system and the structure system.Secondly,through the phenomenon to seek the essence of the deep behind the idea: the model system advocates practicality;the reading aid system emphasizes diversity;the operating system focuses on communication;and the process of knowledge system highlight.Finally,under the support of the above ideas,combined with China's specific national conditions,learning situation,select the grade eight,Writer's Choice persuasive writing unit Writing A Letter To The Editor of the teaching design.After the concrete implementation,it is found that it will be helpful for us to write argumentative writing textbooks suitable for the actual situation of our country by drawing lessons from the Writer's Choice in American junior high school.At the same time,the teaching design based on the textbook writing activities in the United States can be used as a reference for the improvement of the current classroom content and classroom form.
