The flipped classroom is an emerging teaching mode in the information age.Currently,in the United States,number of primary and secondary schools have adopted the teaching mode of flipped classroom,and some of Chinese schools and universities also have conducted a flipped classroom experiment.The flipped classroom,makes the students to be the center and using the information technology as the support,achieves the reversed process of transferring and internalizing knowledge,and also effectively promoted the students' individualized learning.The flipped classroom teaching mode requires teachers to design and develop the teaching resources,teaching plan and teaching activities according to the teaching content before class.At the same time,students are required to complete the learning of new knowledge before class.So the flipped classroom puts forward higher requirements to both teachers and students.Based on the characteristics of science and technology Chinese curriculum,this study attempts to design a flipped classroom teaching mode in science and technology Chinese class.In the study,the students,of class 4 and class 8 in the2015 preparatory students of the International Education College of Tianjin University,are selected as the subjects.In the class 4,the author used the new teaching mode,and designed and developed the teaching video and teaching courseware,and then did a 16 weeks of teaching practice.And in the teaching process,the author found out the situation of students' knowledge in real time through the classroom observation,questionnaire and tests,and adjusted and improved the course design according to the practical problems.The experiment eventually proved the applicability and validity of the flipped classroom teaching mode,and summarized the conditions and precautions were required to apply the flipped classroom model in the science and technology Chinese teaching,and also provided a reference for the future teaching of Chinese as a second language and the study of flipped classroom teaching mode.This article is divided into six Chapters.Chapter 1 is the introduction.The author introduces the background of this research,the research status in China and in foreign countries,the research purpose and significance,and research ideas and methods.Chapter 2 is about the research of the Chinese for science and technology.This paper defines the concept of "Chinese for science and technology",and locates the course of science and technology Chinese.And the author summarizes the existing teaching materials of the course,and conducts a thorough research on the vocabulary of science and technology Chinese.Chapter 3 is the definition of the flipped classroom and the literature review.The author defines the concept of flipped classroom,and summarizes the basic characteristics and main theories of flipped classroom.Then the author analyzes the existing flipped classroom teaching mode,and indicates the feasibility and necessity of using the flipped classroom teaching mode in the science and technology Chinese teaching.Chapter 4 is written about the research and design of the flipped classroom teaching mode's application in the science and technology Chinese class.According to the teaching requirements of the Chinese for science and technology,the author designs about the research object,teaching content,research method,experimental data collection,teaching mode,educational resources and so on.Chapter 5 is the research implementation phase.The paper uses the questionnaire to analysis the situation of the preparatory students before the experiment,and develops the teaching programs through the analysis of the survey's results.During the five teaching experiments,the author do the real-time adjustment of teaching programs according to the problems that the students showed in the classroom.Finally,the experimental results are based on the midterm and the final examination results' contradistinction between the experimental class and the control class,and the satisfaction survey is also considered.Chapter 6 is the conclusion which summarizes the research in many aspects.And summarizes the innovation and shortcomings of this research.
