It is set down as a significant subject that improving students’ ability of learning, practice and innovation contributes to the harmonization of students’ overall and personality development in our country long-term education reform, and Information Technology Education is precisely the key to achieve this goal. Information Technology course is regarded as a relatively young course compared to current courses in our country, and it is also a basic, comprehensive, developing, technical and application-oriented curriculum. The mainly reason why the actual teaching result of the Information Technology in junior high school is far worse than other subjects is the teaching method. So it is urgent to reform teaching mode and improve the quality of teaching. Recently the flipped classroom that comes from America revolutionize the teaching mode compared with China’s traditional classroom. In addition, the flipped classroom attracts the attention of many scholars at home and abroad.Based on the relevant theories and teaching research of the flipped classroom, this paper, first of all, makes a feasibility analysis of the application of the flipped classroom in Information Technology course from the perspective of learning theories and practical conditions. Secondly, combined with the current teaching situation of Information Technology in junior high school and above-mentioned analysis, the paper builds the teaching mode for the Information Technology in junior high school under the concept of the flipped classroom, with tencent QQ group as network platform. Moreover, the paper also makes the instructed design for the section which is selected from the Information Technology course in junior high school, based on the flipped classroom model proposed in this paper. After teaching preparation work is completed, this paper shows the simulated operation about pre-class and post-class of this mode on the QQ group network platform.The simulated operation shows that the flipped classroom teaching mode based on QQ group network platform in junior high school can be achieved. In the specific practicing progress, constantly look for and analyze the potential problems of this teaching model, and constantly explore and improve the flipped classroom model of Information Technology curriculum in junior high school. Under the background of educational informationization and curriculum reform of basic education, hope to provide theoretical and practical reference for teachers who work in the front line of Information Technology teaching.
