Teaching staff team building is the priority of the construction and development of colleges and universities.Mr.Mei Yiqi once said: "The so-called great scholars,are not necessary the ones having buildings and masters".In the period of "13th Five-Year Plan",teaching staff team building in private colleges has been transformed into a hot topic of concern in the theoretical and practical circles,and has gradually become a new research topic.Many scholars and practitioners have carried out a lot of research in this field and achieved a series of results.However,there are still lack of systematic research results on the analysis of the causes and deficiencies faced by the results achieved by the teaching staff building of privates colleges,especially it is very rare to find a research on the mechanism of action to explore teaching staff team building in the case of a university as a specific research object and based on the school management and teachers' perspective.Therefore,it is necessary to go through a more detailed and depth study on a particular private university,to find out some special rules on the teaching staff of private universities' team building,and to provide a type of new thinking ground to private colleges teaching staff team building practice,in order to remedy deficiencies of the existing relevant researches,so as to contribute a meager strength for the enrichment of the theory of team building of teaching staff in private colleges and universities.The main purpose of this study is to analyze the basic research on the construction of the faculty of private undergraduate colleges in China,through the concrete research on the the teaching staff construction in a private university in Jiangxi Province,the related research achievements and the relevant theories of the construction of the faculty of private undergraduate colleges in China,Out of its differences with the public colleges and universities in order to explore the construction of private colleges and teachers of the basic laws and effective methods.The main contents of this study are as follows:(1)The analysis of the basic characteristics of private colleges and universities teaching staff team building in China.This part points out that the basic characteristics of the teaching staff teams in our country are: the diversity of the source,the complexity of the structure,the instability of teams and the restriction of professional development.(2)An Analysis of the teaching staff team building in a private college in Jiangxi province.This part studies in detail,the practice of the teaching staff team building in aprivate college playing a representative role in Jiangxi province,and analyzes the experiences,achievements and the deficiencies of the teaching staff team building in this college,and analyzes the deficiencies reasons from two different angles respectively the managers and teachers,this is a new research perspective.In this part it is also found that private college teaching staff team building has a special phenomenon-the use of surplus quality teachers.(3)Suggestions for the strengthening of teaching staff team building in private colleges and universities.Although this part raises suggestions particularly related to the team building of the teaching staff of one of the private colleges and universities in Jiangxi,but most of its content is also applicable to other private undergraduate colleges and universities.The conclusion obtained of this study is that the team building of teaching staff in private colleges and universities is different from that of public colleges and universities,there are special rules.The team building of teaching staff in private colleges and universities has made a great progress in recent years,but the pressure is increasing.Managers of private colleges and universities believe that the factors that affect the team building of teaching staff are knowledge problems,strategic problems and national policy problems;while teachers of private colleges and universities believe that the main factors affecting the team building of teaching staff are wages problems,career development problems,working conditions and life assurance problems.To this end,the present study puts forward the following countermeasures to solve the above problems of team building of teaching staff in private colleges and universities: transformation of the concept of teaching staff team building,a concept which core resources is the development of teachers of private colleges and universities;adjustment of the direction of team building of the teaching staff by focusing on the team building of core teaching staff of private colleges and universities;changing of the mechanism of team building of teaching staff by introducing,training,rehiring after retirement,part timing etc.to build a diversified teaching staff teams;reformation of the mechanism teachers' management by expanding the professional development space of teachers,especially young teachers;improvement of teachers development conditions by enhancing their living conditions.
