Standard for High School Ideological and Political Education Courses(experimental)points out: "To guide students to stay in a close integration with economic,political,and cultural life that is closely related to themselves and experience the process of exploring learning and social practice...To effectively heighten their capability to participate in modern social life." The standard has clearly put forward that the ideological and political class should cultivate middle school students' social participation ability.The Ministry of Education's newly promulgated "Standard for High School Ideological and Political Education Courses"(2017 edition)proposes that the ideological and political classes in senior high schools should be based on the principle of moral education and emphasize the cultivation of students' social participation ability,and that "public participation" should be taken as the core of the discipline.It can be seen that students' social participation ability cultivated by ideological and political education has been increasingly valued by the state and society.In order to promote the implementation of the ideological and political course standards,this thesis specifically studied the cultivation of students' social participation ability in the teaching of ideological and political classes to promote the reform of ideological and political teaching and promote the overall development of students' core qualities.This thesis mainly used literature analysis,comparative analysis,experience summarization and other methods to conduct the research.It began with relevant theories of social participation ability and on the basis of the author's observation and practice in education practice,combined with my own reflections,I put forward the strategy of cultivating students' social participation ability in the ideological and political classes.This thesis consists of three parts except the introduction.The first part mainly analyzed the social participation ability and the necessity and importance of ideological and political class of cultivating social participationability.The second part discussed the theoretical basis of the ideological and political class of cultivating students' social participation ability.These theories mainly are Life Epistemology,Dewey's Education is Life,and Tao Xingzhi's Life Education Theory.The third part,as the focus of this thesis,analyzed the strategy of cultivating students' social participation ability in ideological and political class: First,give full play to students' subjectivity and improve their ability to cultivate middle school students' social participation ability.;second,strengthen cooperative learning and improve students' ability to cultivate middle school students' social participation ability.;third,to use case teaching to cultivate middle school students' social participation ability;and fourthly,to create a life-oriented teaching situation and cultivate students' social participation skills.The innovation of this paper is mainly how to cultivate students' social participation ability in the teaching of ideological and political courses.It based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards,combined with the characteristics of this subject and the author's own teaching experience,and finally put forward feasible operating measures.
