One of the purposes of learning a second language is to cultivate students' communicative competence.The communicative method is based on functional idea,which is based on sociolinguistics,functional linguistics and psycholinguistics.Communicative teaching is a teaching method for learners to communicate through information using real language materials.It is one of the most popular teaching methods since the 1970 s.Communicative teaching not only exercises the communicative competence of students' discourse level,but also cultivates students' creativity.From the perspective of the authenticity,integrity and the principle of students,it is very appropriate to apply the communicative approach to comprehensive courses.This article took Erdemtugs middle school students as the research object.And I studied and reflected on the application of communicative approach in the elementary Chinese comprehensive course in Mongolia.Through questionnaires and interviews,I analyzed the feasibility of communicative approach in the language environment of secondary schools in Mongolia.Through classroom practice,I explored the application of communicative approach in various teaching links of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses.Through the oral test results of the first and second semester,I analyzed whether communicative approach can improve students' listening and speaking ability and communicative competence.This article aims to find a proper way to use communicative approach in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so that students can apply the knowledge learned in class to communication after class.The research topic is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.Explained the reasons,significance,current situation and research methods.The present research situation mainly introduces the current research situation in foreign countries and the domestic research situation.The second chapter summarizes the theoretical basis,teaching principles,teaching characteristics,the advantages and limitations of communicative language teaching and the related theories of communicative approach.The third chapter is the experimental design.The third chapter analyzes the school situation and questionnaires to students,and analyzes the feasibility of using communicative approach in Chinese classroom teaching in Mongolia.The fourth chapter explores the specific application of communicative approach in elementary Chinese comprehensive teaching.The fourth chapter mainly discusses how to apply the communicative approach to lead-in links,vocabulary links,grammar exercises,text exercises,game links and after-school practice rings.In each teaching link,experiments were carried out with specific cases.In grammar teaching,I used four modes of communicative grammar teaching.I introduced how to use these four modes to teach grammar.The fifth chapter is evaluation and reflection.I compared the oral test results of the first and second semester of different grades.I analyzed the assessment data.I summarized several points for attention in using the communicative approach in elementary Chinese comprehensive courses in Mongolia.I summarized the limitations of the communicative approach in the specific implementation process.We hope that this study can provide beneficial help,guidance for Mongolian Chinese comprehensive course,arouse the in-depth discussion and practice of the application of communicative method in the teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive course.
