One of the biggest features of the new education language curriculum reform is he implementation of the whole book.This paper adopts literature research method,ction research method and empirical summation method.how to implement the curriculum of junior middle school language book reading teaching,make one aspect can promote the development of students' Chinese core literacy,on the other hand make the way of Chinese teaching presents diversity,at the same time,the problems arising from the entire book reading teaching,adopt the effective method that is a question worth researching.This paper tries to take the reading teaching of the "Pilgrimage to the west" as an example to discuss the current situation of reading teaching in the whole book.This paper mainly discusses from three aspects,in order to promote the reading teaching of the whole book in junior middle school,improve the effectiveness of its teaching,and make the reform of new curriculum standard actually implement.The first part: expatiates the teaching problems of the whole journey from the aspects of teaching objectives,teaching content and learning process design.The second part: through the case of "sorting out the plot","analyzing the characters" and "digging the main idea",the author elaborates the implementation process of the whole book of journey to the west.The third part: elaborates the effect and reflection of the whole book of journey to the west.
