The senior high school entrance examination needs to review many and complicated knowledge points,the time for review is urgent,and the questions to be examined need to be highly comprehensive.As a method of assisting learning,Mind Maps can simplify the knowledge by extracting keywords and improve the review efficiency.It presents forms and pictures,abstracts as concrete,stimulates interest in learning,and encourages students to think and construct knowledge systems.Develop students' comprehensive analysis and divergent thinking skills.Introducing mind mapping to assist teaching in junior high school geography teaching has certain practical significance.Based on research results of pedagogy,psychology theory,and other related theories,this article summarizes and introduces related knowledge of mind maps by consulting literature and practice surveys,using comparative methods,summarizing methods,and other research methods.Characteristics,analysis of the strategy of drawing mind maps,and the application of mind mapping in the four dimensions of the geography review in the middle school entrance examination.The paper is divided into six chapters to discuss the study:The first chapter is an introduction,which outlines the background and significance of the research and proposes the research methods of this study.The second chapter is about the summarization of the mind map study.First,it briefly describes the definition of the mind mapping,and secondly discusses the theoretical basis of the study from the aspects of constructivism,brain theory,divergent thinking theory,and cognitive psychology theory.Finally,the literature research of mind mapping was analyzed.The third chapter is the method and strategy for drawing mind maps.This section includes two aspects,namely the drawing method and drawing strategy.The drawing methods mainly include the hand-drawing method and the machine-drawing method.The drawing strategies are illustrated by paradigm-drawing,filling-in-place drawing,error-correcting drawing,and self-service drawing.The fourth chapters are the focus of this study.The teaching examples are used to illustrate the practical application of the four dimensions of the map: knowledge integration dimension,practice assessment dimension,hotspot analysis dimension,and thinking penetration dimension.The fifth part is the use of the results of the mind mapping in the examination review.Through the analysis of the city's research examinations and the results of the academic examinations in the middle school exams,it is concluded that the use of mind maps in the review process is particularly helpful for middle school students.The last part is summary and reflection.(1)To enrich teachers' teaching methods and students' learning methods.(2)Through the study,we have changed the traditional way of studying and not reviewing and practicing.We have found a sustainable way of thinking that can be used to review four-dimensional applications in the middle school geography.This review method is conducive to improving teachers' teaching quality,greatly enhancing the level of geography teaching,and improving the overall quality of students.Students' learning interest has been fully stimulated and the self-learning habits have been well trained.(3)Some reflections were also made on the lack of research.
