Counselors in colleges and universities are backbone to carry out the ideological and political education of college of college students and play an important role in ideology and politics work in colleges and universities. However, in a long term, the construction of counselor team hysteric. Despite the development of counselor team with all watchful eyes of departments in charge of education fixed on it, the post of counselors has been regarded just as a "transfer station". At the present time, according to my survey of present situation of Jiangxi Science Technology Teacher’s College Institute of Science Technology, the inner quality of some counselors are undesirable and the construction of counselor teams has some deficiency in framework and function. Depending on existing teams and traditional method, the ideological and political education of college students can not be sufficient. Therefore, "Specialization" and "professionalization" are the primary missionsthe construction of counselor teams.Counselor team’s special training and professional construction in colleges and universities is inexorable trend in China educational development. The research of counselor team’s special training and professional construction in colleges and universities is significant in theory and practice, for example, this research will enrich the theory of ideological and political education, it can provide practical direction for the construction of counselor teams, and it can also promote counselor teams individual development.The full thesis was divided into five chapters. The first one is introducing elaborating on this paper’s background knowledge of this research, the meaning and method of this research.. In the second chapter, with the farther collating of data, the author clarified the connotative meaning of Counselor teams’specialization and professionalization. The third chapter focused on the necessity and feasibility of Counselor team’s special training and professional construction in colleges and universities. In the fourth chapter, the author designed some questionnaires, interviewed students, counselors and administrators who are in charge of students’affairs, the author also analyzed problems in the process of counselor tarns’specialization and professionalization and analyzed the further causes which led to those problems and deficiencies. In the last chapter, in connection with the current situation and deficiency in the construction of counselor teams, the author, form different perspectives, expounded the countermeasure for dealing with the problems in the process of counselor teams’specialization and professionalization.
