Ethical And Human Symphonies:The Treatment Of Professional Ethics Of Social Work

As a foreign thing,social work faces cultural adaptability in China.According to the parts of base and core,the practice social worker will not only be influenced by the professional ethics but also will be influenced by the Chinese culture.Therefore,with the help of the experience in her internship before,the author explored how the workers deal with the relationship with the service object in practical activities.While building a professional relationship,practice social workers often employ strategies for emotional involvement or by establishing relations between acquaintances.After establishing a relationship between emotion and professional nature,workers and the service object both put into emotion.Therefore,it will produce some products outside of the professional relationship,such as gifts,meals,etc.But it does not mean that workers can get involved in the privacy issues of the service family,which is an emotional connection between friends.At the same time,Chinese social workers be given within the scope of their functions and powers,due to the lack of authority and ability,and considering the existence of strong relations,so even they have sympathy for the plight of the service object,they can only provide some shallow service.After that the author responds to the relationship between the service object and workers' handling,she further analyses whether the treatments are in agreement with the requirements of the professional ethics.Everyone has their inherent dignity and value,so workers should respect human values and dignity.When working with a service object,workers take the approach of ethics and human nature.Abide by professional ethics,specific displays in: in practice,the workers will act on "human dignity and value" as a criterion,strictly follow the principle of achieving the confidentiality of the information of the service objects.Besides,workers and the service objects keep an emotional relationship between friends.They both put into emotion in this relationship.In this professional relationship and emotional relationship between the basis of coexistence,it will lead to the result that some professional ethics restricted some behaviors.The author discusses the reasons behind the discovery of the ways in which workers' methods differ from the professional ethics requirements.From the experience of workers,the way of workers' work is often influenced by the following reasons.According to professional training:(1)Workers are not trained professionally before entering the organization;(2)After entering the organization,although there is a professional training,the emphasis is not on this;(3)In addition to the value orientation of respect,workers do not value the content of professional ethics and do not know how to use it.In line with human culture,workers are mainly affected by the following reasons:(1)The Chinese traditional preface-structure and patterns of social interaction affects the ideas of workers and the service object to establish a professional relationship;(2)The relationship between worker and service object is influenced by "feeling" in Chinese human culture.(3)The concept of face and help in the culture of human culture affect the behaviors of the service objects.According to the research,the author gives two Suggestions:(1)to strengthen the professional ethics training of social workers and to raise the ethical consciousness of workers.(2)the degree of localization of professional ethics.
